To Growing Client Base in Chicago
New York, NY 10/12/2005 â m.a.partners, a leading management consulting firm focused exclusively on the global financial markets, announced today that it has further expanded its presence in the US by opening an office in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to its newly opened Chicago office, m.a.partners operates globally out of offices in New York, London and Amsterdam.
The new office, located on 200 South Wacker Drive, will serve as the base for m.a.partnersâ Chicago operations. The firm has recently hired several full-time consultants in Chicago and will continue to staff the office throughout 2006.
"As a leading financial center, Chicago is a very important market for us, and establishing our presence there is a key component of our strategic plans for growth," said Lee Sach, Partner and Head of North America for m.a.partners. "We believe that having a base in Chicago provides us with the opportunity to extend our footprint into the local exchanges as well as the asset management, hedge fund and commodities areas," added Mr. Sach.
"We see the opening of a second US location as a chance to strengthen our relationships with some of our current investment banking clients and to engage in projects spearheaded by their Chicago operations," said Chris McAuley, Associate Partner and Chicago office lead for m.a.partners. Mr. McAuley will be based in Chicago and will manage the business development and recruitment activities for the new office. The opening of the Chicago office comes at the heels of almost ten years of successful growth and expansion for the firm. Since its inception in 1996, m.a.partners has achieved a compounded annual growth rate of over 45% and a significant increase in headcount. The firm began with two partners and now employs over 125 consultants worldwide.
