Over the last few years, business continuity planning has become an important activity for organisations in every industry. The growing complexity in business processes, the increased risks of interruption, e.g. cyber crime, terrorist attacks, power failures, flooding etc, and the recent developments in corporate governance have made it an even more crucial subject of attention.
The next course to be offered in Ljubljana from 21 to 25 November 2005 is the "BCLE2000 Business Continuity Management for Advanced Professionals". This course (in English) is designed for professionals that have 1 or 2 years of experience in business continuity management. The curriculum is designed in compliance with the Professional Practices for Business Continuity Planners.
The course will expose the participant to all aspects of a holistic Business Continuity Management program and to determine the most appropriate requirements for their organisation. This is a fast paced interactive course offering that has twelve lessons and is completed in four days. In each lesson, the plannerâs role, tasks and objectives, planning requirements, tools, techniques, and validation are designed to assist the planner to move through this course and to directly apply these materials to their working environment. Participants will have the option to take the widely acclaimed DRI International CBCP examination in the morning of day 5.
