Standard & Poor's appoints James Price as Director of Business Development and Marketing for its European Securities Services business

London, 10 October, 2005 —. Standard & Poor’s today announced the appointment of James Price as Director of Market Development for its European data and information services business. Based in London, he will report to Krishna Biltoo, Managing Director of European Data and Information.

At Standard & Poor’s, one of Mr. Price’s main focus will be to strengthen the recognition of Standard & Poor’s as a critical provider of financial information and analytical tools as well as increase the firm’s outreach to credit markets. He will have a team of five professionals based in London.

Prior to joining Standard & Poor’s, Mr Price worked at Thomson Financial in Asia for three years in business development and product management, launching products across the region. Prior to working at Thomson, James was with Coleman Bennett International for five years as a market data consultant, working for global financial institutions.
