SunGard and SIAC Team Up to Help Extend the Reach of the SWIFT Community

New York, NY, May 5, 2005 – SunGard (NYSE:SDS) today announced that it is helping to speed time-to-market for customers of Securities Industry Automation Corporation’s (SIAC) Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) to connect to SWIFT by leveraging the SunGard SWIFT service bureau.

With this initiative, SIAC’s SFTI customers will be able to send and receive the full complement of SWIFT messages to or from any of the thousands of SWIFT-connected counterparties. SunGard’s SWIFT service bureau allows SFTI customers to outsource their SWIFT connectivity needs, helping to make for quick deployment with lower infrastructure and operational costs.

SunGard’s SWIFT service bureau is operated using MINT’s SWIFTNet Platform for SWIFT integration and connectivity. SunGard is a full member of SWIFT. SunGard’s service bureau is a registered SWIFT service bureau and a registered SWIFT ETC provider.
