GoldenSource Corporation appoints Pat Dolan as Vice President EMEA Sales & Marketing

Appointment of Industry veteran demonstrates further commitment to the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) initiative

NEW YORK – May 24, 2005 – GoldenSource Corporation, a global software provider of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions to the securities and financial services industry, today announced the appointment of Pat Dolan as vice president, EMEA sales & marketing. Reporting to ceo Mike Meriton, Dolan, 45, brings more than 21 years of financial services industry expertise and software solutions experience to his role and will be based at the company’s London headquarters.

Dolan is responsible for the leadership and development of GoldenSource sales and marketing strategy across EMEA. His appointment reflects GoldenSource’s continued commitment to expanding its commercial success across the region with proven EDM solutions. GoldenSource’s EDM solution consolidates disparate master files into a central repository of consistent quality data, without the need to replace legacy systems.

Previously Dolan was the global head of sales at Strategic Communications Software PLC. During his four years at Strategic Communications Software, Dolan helped the company achieve growth and profitability. Prior to this, Dolan lead the global sales and marketing initiatives for Cognotec Inc. and was responsible for the company’s expansion across Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Dolan has opened sales and support offices in Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Singapore, Milan, New York and Sydney. This global experience is a pivotal part of Dolan’s established career.

Prior to Cognotec, Dolan lead the global marketing division of the worldwide transactions group at Dow Jones, Inc. Dolan successfully developed and rolled-out transactional solutions to a number of international banks. Dolan started his career at Standard & Poors. From 1984-1995, Dolan progressed through the company and in 1990 was promoted to vice president, sales and marketing. Based in New York, he held global responsibility and led the company’s expansion into new regions, opening offices in Europe, Asia and South America.
