SimCorp A/S acquires treasury shares to be used for employee share scheme and stock option programme

SimCorp A/S has today acquired 82,000 shares of DKK 10 each (DKK 820,000 nominal value). Following the buyback SimCorp owns a total of 156,000 treasury shares of DKK 10 each (DKK 1,560,000 nominal value), equal to 3.2% of the total number of shares.

The background for the buyback is the company’s decision to implement the employee share scheme for 2005 without issuing new shares and to meet all obligations under SimCorp’s stock option programme, as resolved at the board meeting 18 May 2005 cf. announcement no. 104.

All SimCorp’s employee share schemes and stock option programmes are hereafter fully covered by SimCorp’s holding of treasury shares.
