Attunity Ltd, a leading provider of enterprise data integration software, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Richard Branch to the position of managing director. Branch will be responsible for driving business growth and building strategic partnerships, thereby maximising sales of the companyâs new data integration products, including the newly released Attunity 4.6.
Branch comes from French data integration vendor Sunopsis, where he was UK sales director. With over 25 years experience in the database, data-warehousing and business intelligence market, Branch was instrumental to the growth of companies such as Cognos and Ascential (previously Ardent). Branch also helped build successful operations for a number of software vendors, and also founded the UK subsidiary of Uniface, a leading European application development environment vendor.
"Attunity already has a good presence in the UK and Europe, and I am looking forward to developing this further," said Branch. "There is a strong market need for real-time data integration for business intelligence. In order for Attunity to reach its full potential, we need to put particular emphasis on proactive partnerships â both in terms of reinforcing existing relationships and building new ones."
Through OEM and partner agreements with industry leaders such as Oracle, HP and SAP, Attunity has been successfully deployed at over 1,000 organisations worldwide. Customers include ABB, Chevron, DuPont, Fleet Bank, Goldman Sachs, ING, MCI Worldcom and Sabre.
