UnRisk Consortium welcomes the 15th Austrian client

May 10, 2005-- Operating from Austria, the UnRisk consortium serves financial institutions all over the world. The UnRisk2 customer base is growing fast. Today, the 15th client in Austria joined the UnRisk2 community to cope with increasing derivatives analytics and risk control requirements. Austrian clients include Austrian Central Bank and members of the leading finance groups Hypobanken, Sparkassen, Raiffeisenbanken and Volksbanken.

"To make a difference, even smaller banks manage sophisticated deal types. They often request the implementation of a new complex structure with in a few days. Such requirements can often be met by developing UnRisk functions on top of UnRisk. It now pays back that we made UnRisk2 a solution and instrument builder in one", says Herbert Exner, business developer at the UnRisk consortium.

UnRisk2 integrates the computationally optimizes numerical engine realized in C++ in Mathematica's powerful computation and declarative programming environment. Its careful design aims at the pricing and risk management of generic financial objects, which represent a whole universe of real world financial instruments.
