Diebold Unveils New Generation Solutions at CeBIT 2005

Introduces the Opteva 500 and Opteva 121 in Europe

London - Diebold Incorporated, a global leader in providing integrated, self-service and security solutions, will exhibit its new generation of Opteva automated teller machines (ATMs) at the CeBIT exhibition in Hanover, Germany from March 10-16, 2005. CeBIT is the world’s leading event for information technology, telecommunications, software and services.

Making their European debut at the show will be the newest and smallest unit - the Opteva 500 - and the non-cash Opteva 121 terminal options that are popular in Germany and Austria, both of which will be demonstrated alongside the full Opteva family of ATMs. Powered by Agilis®, Diebold’s open-standard, cross-vendor software platform, and supported by Diebold Premier Services®, these units are designed to improve the overall price / performance, flexibility and efficiency of self-service networks and provide a new generation of secure solutions for financial service providers.

"CeBIT is a must-attend event for companies who want to put their products and technology in front of a discerning audience of analysts, buyers and members of the general public. It represents an opportunity for us to illustrate how we are offering major financial institutions more power, functionality and security at the ATM," said Henrik Funch, division vice president for Diebold Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). "Our latest product roll-outs are at the forefront of ATM technology and offer a series of security features that are unparalleled in the industry."
