Getronics UK Announces New Executive Team

London - March 7th, 2005: Getronics has announced four new executive appointments in the UK, following the €350 million acquisition of PinkRoccade. Stuart Appleton has been appointed chairman of the enlarged Getronics in the UK & Ireland and recently he has been proposed for election to the Board of Management of Getronics N.V., the Dutch based parent Company.

Formerly Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Communications for Getronics N.V, Stuart Appleton brings with him over five years experience with Getronics, where he has held the position of Vice President Marketing and Communication before being promoted in 2002 to Senior Vice President Corporate Strategy and Communications. In addition, Stuart held overall responsibility for the Getronics solutions portfolio, and for mergers and acquisitions. Stuart previously held senior management positions at WPP Group PLC and holds a Bachelor of Science from Bath University (UK) and a Master of Arts from London University.

PinkRoccade’s Clive Hyland has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Getronics UK. Clive was formerly Chief Executive Officer of PinkRoccade UK, which he joined in 2000, leading the company through successful acquisitions of both ECSoft Managed Services and ComputerAid. He also oversaw the opening of a new national office for Scotland and the creation of a National Data Centre in Runcorn. Clive brings with him a wealth of experience in the technology and telecommunications sectors.

Joining Stuart Appleton and Clive Hyland will be John Hawker as Chief Financial and Commercial Officer and Mike Pighills as Portfolio Management and Business Integration Director. John Hawker has been with Getronics UK since its takeover of Wang Global in 1999 and since then has been Getronics’ Finance Director responsible for the UK & Ireland operations.

Mike Pighills was formerly Business Operations Director of PinkRoccade UK, having joined the company four years ago from Deloitte Consulting. At PinkRoccade he was responsible for leading and growing PinkRoccade’s managed services arm in the UK, significantly increasing its size and profitability. Mike has extensive experience in IS technology and outsourcing solutions both as a consultant, end-user and service provider.
