FMO Becomes First Government Institution to Benefit From NFS' Treasury Support Center (TM)

London, 29th March 2005 - Nordic Financial Systems (NFS), global leader in the provision of specialised systems and business process consultancy, today announced that FMO, (The Netherlands Development Finance Company) has taken the strategic decision to adopt its Treasury Support Center (TSC). FMO, a Dutch organisation providing financial resources to the private sector in developing countries, is the first government institution to benefit from NFS' TSC.

TSC, developed by NFS, is an outsourcing function for treasury operations, providing IT management and business operations support for multinationals and their subsidiaries. TSC consultants assist these organisations in creating a stable treasury environment, thus ensuring operational efficiency and best practice processes.

Leveraging the technology, business and niche industry expertise of TSC consultants, FMO will use TSC to maximise its IT investment and reduce time and resource expenditure on technical and business process complications. With this operational and technical support, FMO will be able to devote the bulk of its time and resource to value-added activities - confident that its treasury operations are effectively managed.

Joakim Nyberg, Head of TSC, NFS, comments, "NFS keeps a watching brief on all industry developments and we are focused on assisting our clients drive their business forward by adopting the most sophisticated technologies and business process solutions in this market. We are pleased that FMO has become our first government institution client to adopt TSC and we are excited about expanding our customer base in this segment going forward."
