SuperDerivatives dominates Euromoney's 2005 Technology Poll

SuperDerivatives® has been declared as the best FX software provider and its SD-FX™ pricing system overwhelmingly recognized once again as the market benchmark system for FX options by Euromoney in its prestigious 2005 Technology Awards.

SD-FX completely dominated its class in the awards, which are considered highly prestigious by all participants in the financial markets. In its March issue, the magazine says it revamped the awards in 2005, "to significantly enhance their usefulness for our readers….This year, Euromoney directly surveyed banks’ and other providers’ customer bases and asked end users which banks and other professional market players were doing the best in providing internet and electronic services across a broad range of markets and functions." A total of 1,777 respondents replied to the survey.

According to Euromoney, "SuperDerivatives continues to be recognized as the benchmark foreign exchange (FX) options pricing system.” It adds: “SD-FX’s simple interface has enabled inexperienced traders to price options with speed and accuracy. It caters for banks, corporates and financial services, with separate interfaces for the sell and buy sides. Each screen can be configured to meet the specific needs of a client."

SD-FX won a total of 11 different categories. It completely dominated the overall options pricing category, polling 1,183 votes. The runner up received 86 votes. Similar findings materialized in all of the FX option pricing sub-categories. SD-FX came first in innovative designs & features, analytical tools, ease of customization, ease of use & navigatability, reliability, speed, cross-product capability, risk management tools and ‘other factors’.
Perhaps even more impressively, SuperDerivatives was voted as the best overall non-bank FX software provider. In doing this, it beat many more longer-established and well-known companies.

SuperDerivatives’ products are used by numerous companies from both the buy and sell side. Almost all the banks around the world that are active in FX options use its SD-FX pricing platform. Among its corporate clients are IBM, Alcatel, Caterpillar, Ericsson, Coca-Cola Amatil and Ford. Its products are also used by leading accountancy firms and auditors, such as Deloitte & Touche and Ernst & Young, as well as many leading hedge funds.
