Seekport, the innovative European search engine company, has won this year's "Innovation Area Award" in the category of fastest market entry at the CeBIT 2005 computer fair. The Award is given each year by IT-Adventure AG for forward looking technologies and innovative concepts in ITC.
The assessment of a total of 40 candidates was undertaken by a high-calibre panel of judges, including representatives of IBM, Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, Ernst & Young and the Fraunhofer Institut SIT. IT-Adventure AG is a holding company that acts as a partner supporting companies in technology innovations. The goal of the award is to publicise ITC innovations in the market and thus to help them achieve success.
