Two new clients have signed up to use City Financialsâ eTC treasury management system, the company announced.
The Weir Group PLC is a UK-listed engineering company, founded in 1871 and listed on the London Stock Exchange since 1947. Weir employs just under 8,000 people worldwide across five divisions. They chose eTC for two principal reasons, IAS39 compliance for their worldwide foreign exchange activity together with the systems ability to give centralised visibility to all groupwide treasury activity including online interaction with all business units.
Bell Commodities in Australia intend to use eTC for processing the Foreign Exchange requirements of their clients including direction interaction via a web browser. The system will be deployed in Melbourne and Adelaide.
"Signing clients in Europe and Australia demonstrates the continued appeal of eTC to users regardless of location or functional requirements," said City Financialsâ MD, Steve Whalley.
