Investmaster partners with Salentica to provide Client Relationship Management

London, 7 June 2005 – Investmaster Group Limited, the UK’s largest supplier of integrated systems for wealth manager and institutional brokers, today announced a partnership with Salentica Systems Inc., a Canadian-based supplier of Client Relationship Management software. Under the terms of the agreement, Investmaster, wholly owned by Canadian Mutual fund manager AGF, will have exclusive distribution rights in the UK and Ireland and will provide sales and marketing, implementation and first line support.

The partnership deal encompasses the full Salentica Suite, including the sophisticated iParties module, which enables users to create hierarchical groupings and easily navigate client linkages and family groups. Other modules support call reporting, activity Analytics, event management and expense tracking. In addition, Salentica provides powerful mailing and content distribution features as well as sector specific modules for Wealth Managers, Mutual Funds, Institutional Brokers and Insurance companies. Real-time communication alerts for important follow up activities can be sent from Salentica to a user’s Blackberry® - this functionality also allows real-time access to client contact information.

Recent research conducted on behalf of Investmaster highlights the need for financial sector firms to differentiate themselves in the marketplace by offering a service tailored to the needs of individual clients. Whether they are large institutions or individuals, clients expect to receive reports, analysis and documentation that are targeted specifically at them and their interests. To achieve this, firms need to have access to increased amounts of client data and be able to target relevant research, reports and other material directly to the client.

The Salentica solution is an important component of Investmaster’s recently launched Investmaster Wealth Relationship Management platform (Investmaster WRM), a complete product suite for client management. Salentica’s industry focused client relationship management modules are well positioned to address the needs of wealth management and institutional firms and can provide organisations with a 360° view of clients. For example, in the case of wealth managers, the relationship manager can build up a comprehensive view of the client by creating links between family members, and recording important background information about the client. Availability of greater amounts of client information also ensures that wealth managers can meet the requirements of ‘Know Your Client’ regulations, which require a wealth manager to be fully aware of an individual’s personal situation in order to offer the right advice and products.
