edge IPK, the Open Presentation Platform (OPP) developer, has signed a definitive partnership agreement with The Process Factory.
Under the terms of the agreement edge IPKâs edgeConnect will be integrated with The Process Factory. This integration will deliver for the end user a rapid presentation layer in a matter of days, dramatically speeding up delivery time.
Dharmesh Mistry, CTO, edge IPK, stated: "Through this agreement users of The Process Factory can rapidly develop and manage business process management applications to support multiple user interfaces through a single process. This âwrite once, publish many timesâ model will dramatically improve productivity and provide a compelling benefit by not only speeding up delivery time through rapid application building, but through earlier visualisation for end users themselves."
edgeConnect is designed to deliver an Open Presentation Platform (OPP), enabling companies to develop applications using a âwrite once, publish multiple timesâ model. This in turn supports multiple user interfaces and presentations through a single process definition, providing massive productivity gains.
The Process Factory is the first online BPM software vendor for all enterprises based on a totally new concept for the cost-effective deployment of BPM and case management technology.
The Process Factory works by deploying a Java BPM and Case Management engine which drives "schema driven enterprises" ® which is built around existing standards and open source paradigms. This ensures minimum risk to developers and customers alike. All data is based on XML - the basis for almost all development of new process based and integration software tools. The solution simply brings business processes together and delivers it with the minimum of fuss and the minimum of risk without the need to purchase Software, Hardware, Infrastructure or technology.
Jon Pyke, Founder and President, The Process Factory, added: "The Process Factory offers what no others can, a simple, easy to use, extensive and affordable BPM proposition, made simpler yet through its integration with edgeConnect,"
