Ms. Hotter will be responsible for coverage of the metals, softs (foodstuff) and grains markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and will oversee a team of London-based reporters and additional contributors throughout the region. She will report to Adam Smallman, energy editor, EMEA, who recently added commodities to his portfolio.
Ms. Hotter, who has covered the commodities marketsâand metals in particularâfor more than eight years, joins Newswires from Mitsui Bussan Commodities London, where she has worked as a commodities broker for the past year. Other positions she has held include deputy editor of Metal Bulletin PLC magazine; senior correspondent, EMEA, for Bridge News; and senior correspondent, EMEA, for OsterDowJones.
