London, 26 January 2005 - Mutual Fund Technologies (MFT), the specialist system and service provider to the fund management industry, announced today a new senior appointee to head the systems team within its Consulting Group.

Paul Taylor joins from Mellon where he was a senior member of their IT Management Team with specific responsibility for formulating Mellon's European IT Strategy. Paul brings extensive experience in overseeing all aspects of systems development and business consulting within the Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting, Investment Management and Banking sectors.

At MFT, Paul will work within the Consulting Team which extends MFT's traditional technology solution by further enabling customers to streamline the back office business process. They deliver improved customer service, reduced error rates, better management information and have a proven ability in helping MFT customers dramatically to reduce their costs.

This new position has been created to service growing demand for MFT's consultancy services, particularly in facilitating systems integration and maximising straight through processing opportunities among European fund management houses.

Bob Milotte, Managing Director of MFT, commented:

"I am delighted that Paul has decided to join MFT. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience that further demonstrates our commitment to providing added value services to all of our clients."
