SDC Udvikling A/S selected the integrated riskpro™ financial analysis infrastructure for its 80 Danish and 85 Norwegian bank customers

Zurich, Ballerup, January 12, 2005 -- IRIS integrated risk management ag has signed a licensing and implementation agreement with SDC Udvikling A/S -part of the SDC Holding in Ballerup, Denmark and leading datacenter for Danish and Norwegian savings and universal banks. This agreement, which was signed at the end of 2004, covers the delivery and implementation of the integrated riskproâ„¢ analysis infrastructure at SDC Udvikling A/S for the 165 banks it currently serves. The first functionalities to be released will be IFRS39 and Basel II.

Morten B. Jacobsen, Project Manager of SDC said "the imminent problems we had to solve were IFRS and Basel II. SDC decided to choose riskproâ„¢ mainly because the same data and algorithms can be used in other fields such as ALM, Market Risk, FTP and general credit risk. The potential to get a consistent and integrated solution for all types of financial analysis are very attractive."

Dr Willi Brammertz, Managing Director of IRIS integrated risk management ag said "the simplicity and scalability of riskproâ„¢ perfectly match the needs of SDC Udvikling A/S. Thanks to the ease of the user driven modeling, any user, no matter how big or small it is, can tailor riskproâ„¢ according to its specific needs and at the same time fully benefit from the economies of scale resulting from a shared use."

riskproâ„¢ is currently being used in over 60 small to large organizations in 15 countries, including retail, wholesale and development banks.
