Dallas, 17 January 2005 – Penson Worldwide, Inc. the financial services group of companies providing execution, clearing, custody and settlement services for the global securities markets, today announced it has completed an interface to Advent Software’s Advent Custodial Data® (ACD) product. The interface will enable Penson’s money management and RIA clients to easily access and deliver cross-institutional, consolidated views of Penson-held accounts online, for improved portfolio management. Advent is a leading provider of automated solutions to the investment management industry.

Thanks to this relationship and the development of Penson’s ACD interface, Penson’s investment advisor clients and broker-dealer correspondents who use Advent’s portfolio accounting and reporting tools, now have direct, electronic access to client data held at Penson. The project, which began in 2004, was completed in six months.
