*** ICF Kursmakler AG chooses ACTIS PABA/Q and IT outsourcing ***

A three-month test convinced ICF Kursmakler AG, one of the prominent securities trading banks based in Frankfurt, to implement the universal banking solution ACTIS PABA/Q and to let it operate in the computer centres of ACTIS.BSP IT Services in the future. Production start will already be on the 01.01.2005 - an ambitious, but quite realistic target, since during the test phase large sections of the necessary infrastructure were built and the installation of the software already took place.

For the first time, a software renting model was elaborated for this co-operation, combined with extensive global services (Application Service Providing), for the application. This model enables the bank to benefit from the full use of the global software solution ACTIS PABA/Q without initial investments needed. The professional Application Services of ACTIS.BSP IT Services ideally complete the services palette.

*** BSP TRADE now also available on Linux ***

The choice of server hardware is therefore substantially extended.

*** NRW.BANK chooses BSP ProDB ***

NRW.BANK will be the first institute to use the provider database solution BSP ProDB.
The BSP ProDB software uploads, displays and consolidates the entire securities-relevant data from the WERTPAPIER-MITTEILUNGEN (WM) and supplies the data in-turns to the IT systems of the NRW.BANK in freely definable structures, like e.g. XML, csv files and database tables.
The data concerning the bank’s own securities (internal types) that are not supplied by WM, can be easily entered and maintained by the Back Office using a flexible parameter-driven screen.
Thus the Bank can in the future maintain all securities data in one central database and also distribute the data to all other systems via the flexible interfaces.

***Fimaseba using ACTIS PABA/Q in outsourcing***

Punctually on November 22, the Financial Markets Service Bank went live in the computing centre of ACTIS.BSP IT Services.

This was the successful completion of a smoothly run outsourcing project, which was characterised by an on time and comprehensive conversion of the various processes. A further success factor was the very good co-operation of the ACTIS.BSP project group with the team of the Financial Markets Service Bank under the direction of Kurt Schwandt.

In parallel with the live take-over, a software upgrade to ACTIS PABA/Q release 3.2 also took place. Moreover ACTIS Payment System ZVplus replaced the former funds transfer solution of a competitor.
