Dr Andrew Foster, a clearing specialist at the Financial Services Authority (FSA) will address delegates at the event, which takes place on Thursday 27 January 2005 at Cabot Hall, Canary Wharf, London as part of a special seminar series. It follows the successful 2004 peterevans seminar at Finexpo where Treasury Select Committee member John Mann MP presented to delegates on European integration and the creation of a single, sustainable market.
The seminar, titled âEfficiency in Clearing and Settlement: Where Next?â will address future trends in the vital area of clearing and allow Finexpo delegates to gain a unique viewpoint on the FSAâs current and future plans. It takes place in the St Lawrence Room of Cabot Hall at 2.00pm.
Dr Foster brings over 12 years financial experience to Finexpo. His previous roles have included seven years as a Product and Business Development professional for the OM London Exchange and five years as a lecturer in Financial Economics at Londonâs Brunel University.
"Weâre delighted to invite Andrew to join us and share his insights with delegates on the day," said peterevans Managing Director Dr Mike Foley.
"This is the second year weâve been closely associated with the Finexpo team and weâre pleased to bring such a relevant and useful topic to the event."
"With the FSAâs increasing role in the City Iâve no doubt it will be an informative and thought-provoking session," he added.
The peterevans team will be hosting an interactive display stand providing details of the Companyâs back and middle office systems, and advance previews of its middle office offering Tira, which will be officially launched in 2005.
