Netviewer promotes their web collaboration software at 'Collaborative Conferencing Summit 2005' in London 22nd February at the Dorchester Hotel

Founded in June 2001, Netviewer has become one of the fastest growing software companies in Germany and now has more than 1300 customers in 27 countries world wide.

Netviewer will enable enterprises to increase productivity, improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs by facilitating the sharing of information in real-time via the Internet. As Netviewer can be a one-off investment, or available on monthly rental, it is a perfect low cost source in exchanging information on-line and gaining remote access to make PC support painless for the user.

With Netviewer, Internet users can view each other’s screens from any location, without prior installation or configuration. The only requirement for using Netviewer is an Internet connection, no matter if it is by dial up modem or by broadband. Each Netviewer session is encrypted, using standard blowfish encryption tools which safeguard information with client security access features. In addition, Netviewer does not require any client application downloads, therefore protecting your client’s PC. There are no system changes so your registry remains unchanged.

Netviewer has three core applications available extended with options to install your own server software:

1) Netviewer one2many is a web-conferencing tool designed for multiple attendee’s. The moderator can allow other participants to view the PC screen and remote control rights can be temporarily assigned to selected participants. By using pointers in different colours, labelled with the respective participant's name, co-operation becomes even more efficient. You can also transfer screen rights in order that fellow delegates can show their presentation to the delegates within the conference room.

2) Netviewer one2one offers the solution for those wanting to work with a single person in another location. Via the internet, participants can simultaneously view each other's PC screens, while talking on the phone. They can assign certain remote control rights to each other and thus jointly edit documents. By default, your partner has view-only rights and they can only see the application and file you are currently working on. Users have the option to grant their session partners certain remote control rights, so that files can be jointly edited, using any application available on your PC. Remote control rights can be withdrawn at any time. With permission and a single mouse-click, users can exchange roles, so they can review the partner screen, switching back again with another single click

3) Netviewer remote2office facilitates easy remote access to a distant PC or server without user participation at the other end, giving more flexibility for daily business. Netviewer remote gives users 3 levels of security, however, installation of master and host applications is required.
Steve Puleston, Netviewer Product Manager UK said "It will not be long before all businesses will be using this software, a tool like this is essential. The uses for Netviewer are endless: real-time sharing of any on-line information, document collaboration or simply presenting from PowerPoint presentations to flash and virtual animation."
