LONDON, April 8, 2005 – CHP Consulting, the leading provider of software and consulting services to the global lease finance industry, today announced that its next-generation, Web-enabled ALFA Fleet Services module (ALFA/FS) is now available to North American automotive finance companies.

ALFA/FS is but one of several application modules that operate on CHP Consulting’s ALFA Systems enterprise software platform, recently introduced in North America after 14 years of successful customer engagements in the United Kingdom, Europe and Australasia. Fleet driver and vehicle records management, as well as workflow solutions, are facilitated by the ALFA/FS application.

"ALFA is well known as a robust and flexible accounting, administration and invoicing system for the automotive finance industry," said Steve Edwards, information technology director at Leasedrive, the United Kingdom’s largest privately owned vehicle management group. "ALFA/FS Fleet Services adds driver records management to Leasedrive’s ALFA toolset and provides us with the ability to configure the detailed workflow that we require to assist our customers."

In addition to Leasedrive, other well-known fleet leasing and automotive finance organizations using ALFA Systems include Lombard Vehicle Management, Nissan Finance and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

"Our blue-chip client list illustrates the confidence the automotive finance industry has in the ALFA Systems platform," said CHP Director Andrew Page. "We will be rolling out this unique, industry-specific technology to fleet managers in North America, helping streamline their operations and drive their peace of mind too. We expect strong interest in this product."

Unlike many other software applications used in the fleet management industry, the ALFA Systems platform features integrated front- and back-office capabilities. This end-to-end functionality facilitates a truly seamless approach and significantly enhanced operational efficiencies that link sales support, acquisition, billing and invoicing and administration. A single platform also provides significant costs savings versus multiple systems.
The ALFA/FS Fleet Services module is further distinguished by its Web-enabled driver self-servicing and certification capabilities. The technology also enables automated postal, email or text message communications sent to drivers regarding registration, maintenance and other key reminders.

Established in 1990, CHP Consulting specializes in strategic and information technology consulting to the finance industry. Key areas of expertise include consumer finance, corporate asset finance, vehicle finance, fleet management, asset management and structured asset finance.

The firm employs more than 100 consultants to support clients in the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and Australasia. These include RBS Lombard, HSBC, Nissan Finance, Lloyds TSB, Royal Bank of Scotland, Société Générale and ING Lease.
