The membership organisation for charity finance professionals, the CFDG, is holding itâs annual IT Conference for 2005. This yearâs conference addresses the need for charity decision-makers to discuss how they can better understand and manage the use of IT in their organisations. The theme is "Closing the Gap", which has been chosen to demonstrate how software and technology innovation can address the gap between a charityâs technological infrastructure and its organisational issues of managing costs, growing income, and doing more with less.
Touchstone Tate Bramald Services Director Dr. Phil Harwood will be presenting at the conference. Entitled âOrganisational Efficiency Through Integrationâ, his presentation will show how smart, cost-effective integration between key line-of-business applications will reduce costs and how introducing workflow will mean greater organisational control and accountability.
"Touchstone Tate Bramald is proud to be associated with an event that fosters understanding and technology excellence in the not-for-profit sector. We share a common goal in the nurturing of an in-depth understanding of IT to ensure long term success for charities and therefore Touchstone is delighted to be a sponsor," said Andes Loukianos, Director of Touchstone Tate Bramald.
Sponsorship of the CFDG event is a key part of Touchstone Tate Bramaldâs commitment to supporting the charity sector through various sector-specific events, training and technology initiatives. The newly-created Touchstone Tate Bramald, part of the Touchstone group of companies, is dedicated to supporting over 400 not-for-profit organisations and charity sector clients.
David Membrey, Deputy Chief Executive of the CFDG commented: "We're really pleased to have Touchstone Tate Bramald sponsor this yearâs event. Their commitment to the sector is appreciated by their customers, and by the CFDG."
