TietoEnator delivers customer care and energy data management systems to Pori Energia

TietoEnator and Pori Energia have signed an agreement to continue the development of Pori Energia's customer care and billing system. The deliverables will also include an EDM (Energy Data Management) system designed to improve the efficiency of measurement data management, provision of eServices for final customers, and a reporting solution for resource planning purposes. The system will be deployed during 2005.

The new solution that will upgrade the power and heat customer care and billing is based on an existing Forum product used by Pori Energia that will be considerably extended in the course of the project. The system is designed to improve the business processes of energy companies and to respond to the new requirements imposed by the deregulation of the energy market by supporting the operations of distribution and sales companies.
