Touchstone and InterQuad Partner to Deliver a Total Workplace Training Solution

Touchstone, the IT services group, has today announced that it has formed an alliance with IT training company InterQuad Learning to provide its clients with a broader training solution encompassing desktop productivity tools, server technologies and business applications. Touchstone expects the solution to help clients improve employee productivity and drive more value from their business systems.

InterQuad Learning is a leading UK provider of vendor-accredited IT training including ECDL-compliant user skills. InterQuad is the largest Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions in the EMEA region, and the number one Citrix Authorised Learning Centre in the world.

Touchstone offers integrated business solutions to help its clients address a range of business issues. With high levels of consultancy, project management, support, training and account management combined with financial management, procurement, CRM, business intelligence and document management solutions, Touchstone group is recognised as having produced a unique IT service for companies in the mid-market. As Touchstone’s Training partner, Interquad will offer training on Touchstone’s business applications such as Microsoft Business Solutions-Great Plains and SunSystems, in addition to providing critical training services on desktop productivity tools and infrastructure technologies such as Microsoft Office, Windows 2003, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and Citrix technologies. Courses will be available in 10 locations across the UK.

"The Touchstone InterQuad alliance is really about offering a total workplace training solution across the desktop, server and business application,” said John Kauffman, Managing Director of InterQuad Learning. This partnership enables both firms to deliver a broader and deeper training solution to the marketplace."

"In today's dynamic and challenging technology environment, finance and CRM systems are more closely integrated with the desktop productivity tools, such as email and spreadsheets, which users work with on a daily basis. However, the infrastructure required to support this level of integration in a stable and secure way is arguably more complex. Most organisations will need to ensure that their people have the necessary skills in all three areas of infrastructure, productivity tools and the particular business application involved," said Paul White, Chief Operating Officer at Touchstone.

White continues, "InterQuad has an industry-leading reputation for quality and value. This powerful partnership will help companies to more quickly and effectively drive superior value from their business systems."
