November 22, 2004 - ProClarity Corporation, a leading provider of analytic application technology for the enterprise, today announced a collaborative partnership with Digital Aspects that enables connectivity to several common enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications. In conjunction with ProClarity®, Digital Aspects, an independent software developer based in West London, has developed Cubics®, a real-time analytic middleware product designed to provide dynamic access to SAP®, JD Edwards® and PeopleSoft® for the ProClarity Analytics Platform. "Businesses often need to analyse what is happening in their organisation in a real-time fashion," said Gordon Roxon, CEO for Digital Aspects. "Unfortunately, the data in traditional ERP systems is complex and difficult to analyse. Cubics gives organisations access to
up-to-date information from their ERP systems, which can then be analysed using the ProClarity Analytics Platform."
Cubics delivers the ability to "slice and dice" live transaction-level data in both the ProClarity Analytics Server and Live Server, and makes it possible to get real-time summary information about business operations without the difficulties associated with traditional OLAP server products.
Version 6 of the ProClarity Analytics Platform is designed to enhance IT
productivity and performance, while providing organisations with a comprehensive understanding of corporate operations. An integral component of ProClarity 6, Live Server provides both read and write-back capabilities to data sources from the familiar Excel environment promoting effective and collaborative team planning.
"Certain business decisions require the instantaneous understanding of current business operations," said Raino Zoller, ProClarity business development manager. "ProClarity, in partnership with Digital Aspects, is able to give organisations real-time access to their ERP data, and allows them to fully analyse this information and identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings."
