R.J. O'Brien Hires Assistant VP of Institutional Sales - Jennifer Martin responsible for Marketing of Clearing and Execution Services

Chicago, November 17, 2004 - R.J. O'Brien and Associates, Inc. (RJO), one of the oldest and largest futures commission merchants, today announced that it has hired Jennifer Martin as Assistant Vice President of Institutional Sales.

In this role, Jennifer will be responsible for marketing, clearing and execution services to commodity trading advisors and hedge fund managers.

"We are all excited to have Jennifer Martin join us," said Gerald F. Corcoran, CEO of RJO. "Clearing and execution services are a fundamental part of RJO's business, and Jennifer will do an excellent job in marketing these services to prospective clients."

Prior to joining R.J. O'Brien, Martin spent two years in Washington, DC at the Managed Funds Association (MFA), the trade association representing more than 700 professionals in the alternative investment industry. As membership coordinator at MFA, she focused her efforts in marketing, communications and membership development. Martin was a graduate of Princeton University where she was awarded highest honors in her pursuit of a Bachelors Degree in History and American Studies. A new resident of Chicago, she originally hails from Atlanta, GA.
