Established in 1989, Tate Bramald is one of London's premier Microsoft Great Plains and SunSystems business consultancies. They employ 33 staff and have 190 active clients including Rugby Football Union, UNICEF UK, Virgin Active and BizzEnergy
Touchstone will be moving quickly to integrate Tate Bramald into Group operations. The greater scale of the merged operation will provide synergistic savings and provide additional focus to the respective Great Plains and SunSystems business units. It will also enable the Group to offer Touchstone's CRM, Document Management, Procurement and Integration capabilities to a larger audience.
An exciting aspect of the enlarged Group will be the creation of a new specialist unit dedicated to supporting over 400 Not-for-Profit organisations and Charity sector clients (NfP/C). The expertise that the Group has gained in solving many different business issues for these organisations is unique in the market. The Group's presence and capability means that it is well placed to serve other NfP/C organisations in the UK.
Keith Birch, Chief Executive of Touchstone, said "Tate Bramald and Touchstone have been friendly rivals for many years. We have competed on many occasions and have watched each other's development with interest.
The market is consolidating fast and Touchstone is well placed to be one of very few dominant players who deliver great service to a large number of clients."
Tate Bramald's Chairman, Peter De Haan, commented "This acquisition provides a superb opportunity for the staff and clients of Tate Bramald to benefit from being part of a much larger Group. Touchstone's reputation and strength combined with Tate Bramald's excellent client list and skilled staff will be a formidable combination."
