The bank converted more than 600 branches and 14.3 million accounts onto a single Profile system. Included in the move was the conversion of 10.4 million customers in one weekend.
"The transition from multiple in-house systems to Profile was a success, and the system has been operating flawlessly," said Pongstorn Siriyothin, the bank's senior executive vice president and acting president.
Profile is an integrated multi-currency system for deposits and loans that provides continuous online availability. It supports all loan and deposit products in a single application, reducing the complexity of a bank's processing system.
