ADP Wilco received the award for best Outsourcing Support for the second successive year at the highly respected Systems for the Securities Industry Awards, sponsored by the London Stock Exchange. ADP Investor Communication Services also received ICFA magazineâs award for European Technology Vendor of the Year in recognition of its electronic proxy voting service.
The Systems for the Securities Industry Awards were organised by the specialist securities industry support company, Summerson Goodacre. Stephen Pinner, Managing Director of Summerson Goodacre said: "ADP Wilco's award recognises its leadership and successes in providing outsourced transaction processing for both institutional and private client operations. The ICFA award, part of the inaugural ICFA European Custody & Fund Administration Awards 2004, was made in recognition of ADP Investor Communication Servicesâ ability to demonstrate quality, consistency and innovation at a European level. The ability to provide highly efficient cost-effective solutions was also considered key to its success.
"The provision of electronic proxy voting services such as those provided by ADP will be an important factor in facilitating improved corporate governance within European markets," said Jason Conway, Editor, ICFA magazine. "In the UK, the provision of electronic proxy voting has been given heightened importance in light of the recently published Myners report," he added.
