Antepo Extends Partner Network with New Managed Service Partner Program to Offer Hosted Enterprise Instant Messaging

LONDON AND NEW YORK - June 30, 2004 - Antepo, Inc. , a pioneer of secure, interoperable Enterprise Instant Messaging (EIM), today announced the addition of a new programme to the Antepo Partner Network(tm)- the Managed Service Partner (MSP) Program. The MSP Programme makes Antepo's Open Presence Network (OPN)(tm) software available as a service, allowing service providers and other partners to offer hosted or managed EIM networks to their customers. Additionally, partners can provide a central, hosted IM hub to federate external IM traffic from any customer using any standards-based EIM system.

"Many of our partners are eager to bring EIM capabilities to their customers who are seeking an easier, faster way to deploy and manage EIM than they can feasibly accomplish on their own," said Maxime Seguineau, Chairman and CEO of Antepo, Inc. "The MSP Program enables these service providers to host a complete EIM solution, offering simple, seamless access to the OPN System with all the security, connectivity, and functionality of an in-house installation."

With the launch of the MSP Programme, Antepo becomes the first multi-protocol EIM provider to make its software available as a hosted or managed service, bringing added flexibility to its comprehensive OPN System(tm) suite. OPN System is the only EIM solution that is interoperable across IM standards and platforms, delivering real-time communications along with high-level security and federation capabilities - regardless of messaging protocol or firewall boundaries.

MSP Partners can leverage the OPN System to host a complete, end-to-end EIM network for each customer, or deploy a federated IM hub as a single, secure point of connectivity to route external IM traffic for customers with existing IM systems in place. Leveraging OPN solutions, partners can bring together vertical market communities and extend their internal EIM networks. For example, financial services firms can offer real-time communication between buy and sell-side traders, or enterprises can enable interconnectivity among various global subsidiaries. The software has also been successfully tested to support more than 500,000 concurrent users, further validating its carrier-class scalability and reliability.

Antepo's OPN System also meets critical regulatory and compliance requirements -offering built-in archiving and reviewing capabilities, which are otherwise available only as costly add-ons to competing EIM solutions.

BT Syntegra, a leading provider of IT services and solutions for the worldwide securities industry, recently completed its first Antepo Partner Network initiative with the integration of EIM into ITS Myriad, its multi-channel desktop collaborative trading environment.

"Like many industries today, the financial sector has been quick to adopt instant messaging - which has grown to become an essential communications tool in the current trading environment. Our partnership with Antepo allows us to introduce best-in-class EIM as an integrated part of the ITS Myriad desktop," said Tim Furmidge, business development director, BT Syntegra. "Making EIM available as a hosted service has great value in allowing customers to allocate more time and resources to their own business rather than IT management. Antepo's OPN has a clear advantage as the foundation for such a service, as an interoperable solution offering carrier-class reliability and scalability at the same time."

The MSP Program offers bulk seat pricing, marketing and sales support, and other benefits, including discounted internal use of the OPN System for MSP Partner companies. Contact Antepo for more information.
