IFX wished to streamline itsâ settlement operations by implementing real time back office processing, at the same time they wished to reduce the cost of settlement. Following an initial consulting study InterSet was selected. Contracts were signed in February 2004 and InterSet was up and running within three months - a well executed and very successful project achieved within short timescales.
The project involved IFX moving their settlement operations in house, having previously used a third party clearer. This move in house was achieved with no extra staff, indeed because InterSet is more efficient and functionally richer , it has replaced manual processes and allowed staff time to focus on maximizing profit. At the same time it has given an overall reduction in operational costs.
Kaye Spicer, Chief Information Officer at IFX says "we combine the experience of our high calibre people with the latest technology, to provide an institutional-quality service to all our clients. Our systems are leading-edge and highly automated, but we never forget the essential human element in the dedicated quality of service we offer our customer. InterSet is helping us to achieve this goal"
Jeremy Sibthorp, Director at SAM Systems says " this project has proved, yet again, SAMâs ability to deliver on time to budget and demonstrates that InterSet is a true STP solution," IFX is the fifth new client to have recently signed for Interset.
