Trustees Executors will utilise HiPortfiolio/3 in its Third Party Administration offerings for the New Zealand funds management marketplace.
Previously users of HiPortfolio/2, Trustees Executors completed a smooth implementation of HiPortfolio/3 following a successful project of analysis, testing and parallel run resulting in a conversion in April 2004.
"Our move to HiPortfolio/3 was a logical business decision," outlined Claude Oberto, National Manager, Fund Services, Trustees Executors. "We have worked closely with DSTi over the past five years as an alliance partner and believe that the benefits of HiPortfolio/3 will provide us with a competitive solutions edge."
Trustees Executors is the largest provider of trustee and wholesale administration services to the New Zealand financial services industry. HiPortfolio/3 will be used to continue to provide valuation and accounting information to clients. "Our goal is to make doing business with Trustees Executors more attractive for existing and new clients. For those organisations wishing to outsource their back office functions, Trustees Executors becomes the logical choice," Mr Oberto said.
According to Ian Mathieson, Managing Director of DST International, "We have worked closely with Trustees Executors for some time and applaud their decision to be the first adopter of our HiPortfolio/3 platform in New Zealand, which is our future proof funds management system."
"Becoming the first adopters of HiPortfolio/3 in New Zealand will no doubt provide Trustees Executors with a business solutions leadership position. As a Third Party Administrator being able to offer the broader market access to DSTiâs latest technology will appeal to most investment organisations. Many of these companies will already be familiar with the productâs market leading
forerunner, HiPortfolio/2. The HiPortfolio/3 platform has been specifically designed to provide greater versatility for information access and storage, ease of use as well as efficiency benefits for our clientsâ customers," he said.
