Following an extensive open tender, ICAP has selected Moneyline Telerateâs products and services for installation at their new Broadgate location in London in time for its opening in May 2004. TRS will initially be deployed in the front office to support 700 broking positions. Subsequent initiatives will see the deployment of the Moneyline Connect toolkit and API for distribution of market data and other services to users outside of the trading room.
Lance Fisher, Deputy Global CIO of ICAP, commented, "TRS provides a robust, reliable, and truly open platform environment which, when allied to the Moneyline Connect toolkit and APIs, results in a state of the art and cost effective enterprise wide solution for data distribution and management."
Doug Jeffrey, Senior VP and MD of Moneyline Telerate, EMEA said, "We are extremely pleased to provide ICAP with such an integral part of their technology infrastructure. We firmly believe that products such as TRS and Active8, in combination with our benchmark content, can be used by customers to significantly reduce the cost of ownership burden that is associated with market data distribution and display technologies and provide them with the most flexible and essential data services in the industry."
