Chris Norton, the company's telecoms business development manager, will be available on the InterSystems stand throughout the show to discuss how InterSystems is working with telecoms mobile operators to reduce customer churn through increased customer intimacy and personalised services. InterSystems delivers these benefits via rapidly developed applications that leverage its high performance, object-oriented database technology.
In the mobile and telecoms sector, InterSystems works with application partners, such as Schlumberger messaging solutions, which recently migrated its highly successful EIR (Equipment Identity Register) application for mobile operators to CACHÃ technology.
Infocube, another InterSystems application partner, uses the Caché database to develop applications that provide the necessary content organisation and three-dimensional navigation on PDAs, digital TVs, mobile phones or PCs.
In addition, to foster wireless and mobile innovation in the UK, InterSystems teamed up with the Wireless IT Research Centre set up in October 2002 to research into areas such as mobile networks, home area networks, wireless healthcare systems, wireless learning systems, wireless security, e-technologies, wireless payments and wireless internet.
"At the show, we will be discussing how InterSystems can work with solutions providers in the telecoms sector to develop applications which reduce customer churn through greater intimacy via integration of data islands within telecoms operations," says Chris Norton.
