Business Architects announce expansion of UK and European team after successful 2003

London - Following significant growth in 2003 with major new clients such a BWD Rensburg and Pershing, a division of BNY, the company is expanding direct sales and support operations in the UK.

Barry Davey joins as Business Development Manager UK, having been senior account manager at Misys Asset Management. Barry will spearhead direct sales of eXimius investment management in the private banking sector.

Paul Fulford joins as Senior Business Consultant. Paul has worked in the industry for the past 15 years with companies such as Citimax, Misys and Advent.

"We are seeing a huge increase in demand for eXimius, our new generation of investment wealth management software applications. Since commencing UK operations in 2002, we have concentrated on the retail side of private client investment management that has resulted in our leading position as provider of white label investment management software to the BPO market. We are now delighted to welcome such experienced professionals as Barry and Paul to help us expand our direct sales channel in the UK." comments UK director, David Wilson.

David Wilson assumes additional responsibility for Global BPO sales and marketing. "With companies such as Penson, and Pershing adding correspondents rapidly to their services using our eXimius software, this business is growing fast. Correspondents are now looking for a common front office platform for their international operations. Our software solution is designed not only for portfolio and relationship managers but also as a consolidation mechanism for management to control risk, compliance, exposure and performance across the group. I am looking forward to helping our clients achieve more effective business performance on an international scale."

Jan Galicia, one of the original founders, has taken responsibility for growing indirect channel partners in countries where Business Architects do not have direct sales and support operations, concentrating on Spain, Portugal, Italy and Eastern European countries. "Last year we appointed distributors in Italy and Switzerland and they are performing very well for us. We now see opportunities in other regions and potential partners are actually finding us. When you have software built on new technology foundation such as .NET and can provide multi channel delivery, then your appeal to mass affluent investment management firms increases exponentially. Being so easily scalable to manage hundreds of thousands of accounts does not hurt either," commented Jan Galicia.

"Since launching eXimius 3 years ago, the response from our clients and the
market has been staggering. Our vision in providing a single software platform for investment and wealth aggregation that can be used by all stakeholders of an investment & wealth management company is unique in this business. Coupled with a new technology platform that makes it very easy to integrate with legacy systems and deploy, self-directed end users ensures our clients can achieve a fast return on investment and more effectively and efficiently manage their operations enterprise wide. Clearly with experienced people like Jan and David driving this expansion, we look forward to a great 2004" commented Peter Schramme, Senior VP of eXimius Business Unit.
