· Phillip Corryn joins Iris Financial‘s New York office as Director of Sales for North America

4th August 2004: For over a decade Iris Financial has worked with the world’s leading investment banks in shaping electronic trading, decision-support and risk management systems. Today, Iris Financial delivers high-performance, high-volume solutions for many of the largest global trading institutions using its Java/J2EE Component Services Architecture (CSA) technology.

Phillip Corryn, who has a 15 year successful career in the financial technology industry, was most recently VP of North American sales for FAME, the data technology and analytics company recently acquired by SunGard. Phil’s experience in selling real-time data feeds, trading systems and enterprise-wide consulting solutions while at SunGard, Bridge, Knight-Ridder Financial and S&P ComStock well equips him to lead the sales team in New York.

Martin Coen, Global Head of Sales and Business Development, welcomes Phil saying:
"Following last September’s investment by Apax Partners, Iris Financial has been enjoying a period of growth. Now we need dedicated and experienced resource to strengthen and direct that growth in North America. Phil has the background and expertise to bring the advantages of Iris Financial to a wider market in electronic trading."

Commenting on joining Iris Financial, Phil Corryn says:
"I am greatly impressed by the depth and experience of the industry experts and technology staff at Iris Financial and look forward to establishing complimentary business relationships for the company with trading and technology departments at global buy and sell side institutions. This is a very exciting time at Iris Financial as the Component Services Architecture offers customers a migration strategy for legacy systems, while providing real-time information management across all trading-related systems and internal components, with a highly focused and customised front-end for all asset classes."

Phil’s role will be to direct the North American new business development from Iris Financial’s offices on 100 Wall Street, reporting to Martin Coen.
