Treasura has been designed to be easy to implement and easy to use. "It is very user-friendly," said GMS cash manager Allyson Reeves. "Selkirk has set a new standard with Treasura's user-interface. When you look at the screen you don't need anyone to guide you along. It is very intuitive."
Because Treasura is a web-based system, clients are always using the most up-to-date versions available - no software to install, no delays. "We like staying ahead of the curve and this is a great tool for that," said Sharlie Gates, corporate accounting manager for GMS. "We don't have to worry about keeping track of what version is coming out next."
Tom Morrison, Selkirk's vice-president, products, said that one of the main reasons Selkirk developed Treasura was because many large companies were still using unwieldy and unmanageable spreadsheets. "Right now we are tracking our credit facilities in spreadsheets," said Reeves, "and it is not ideal. We are looking forward to automating this process in Treasura. We also like the idea of having the flexibility to manage our cash from anywhere in the world."
