Gary Cook of COSS Earns Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® Designation

Milwaukee, Wisconsin– Gary Cook, MSFS, CAP®, CFP®, CLU, ChFC, RHU, REBC, LUTCF, Content Development Manager for COSS Development Corporation, has earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) professional designation from the Richard D. Irwin Graduate School of The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. The CAP® program advances charitable giving in the United States by offering graduate-level education to professionals in the nonprofit and financial services fields who regularly work with individuals and families in the development and implementation of charitable giving and philanthropic plans.

Cook has complete authorship over the content, subject matter, and development direction of COSS’ needs analysis and advanced planning software systems (30 modules total). He regularly conducts customer focus groups and steering committees, which in turn drive future development, system enhancements, and the creation of new planning modules.

Cook has 29 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He held various executive positions with major insurance carriers before joining COSS in February 2002.
