Dataview has been developed in the Channel Islands over the past ten years. The Sigma Group has invested a seven-figure sum in developing and refining the system over the past couple of yearsâ said.Business Development Manager Steven Page âOur close working relationship with Guernsey and Jersey Trust Companies has helped us to produce a system which has now become a world beaterâ
âBoth companies have done extensive and exhaustive research worldwide looking for the right partner and after in depth discussion and product evaluations decided that each companies product was an ideal match for the others.
Said DSI CEO Bruce Raine. "International Private Banking Systems (IPBS), our flagship software offering, is the result of over eleven years of development effort. Thus far our market penetration has been primarily focused on the Caribbean, North and South America and the Pacific Rim. We have always seen Europe as a prime market for IPBS but we have been reluctant to venture very far beyond our ability to properly support our clients. Our strategic alliance with Dataview and The Sigma Group however, gives us not only a very powerful marketing and support capability in the European Region, but their trust and company administration software is extremely complementary to our IPBS wealth management family of products. One of our fundamental business philosophies said Raine is that customer support and service is paramount and we are delighted that Dataview shares this important business precept.
"Not only will Dataview and DSI market and support each others products but they will also provide Project Management, Consultancy, Installation and Training and 1st line support.
DSI sees immediate opportunities for Dataview sales in the Bahamas and Cayman Islands where DSI is the dominant software vendor. DSI currently serves clients in these key financial centres as well as the Turks & Caicos Islands, Bermuda, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. A significant recent sale to a major Canadian financial services group in New York City is paving the way for DSIâs marketing to onshore institutions now also said Bruce Raine. What we are finding on this side of the world said Raine is that a lot of financial institutions are now seeing the benefits of using modern Windows based technologies and are replacing their old systems rather than trying to renovate them. Also, new products in financial services are demanding new technologies and one of the strengths of both DSI and Dataview is our ability and willingness to develop new features.
"The partnership is bound to be seen as an endorsement by pure trust and administration companies in both onshore and offshore financial centres, leading to further salesâ. The contract between Dataview and DSI was signed yesterday
