eiStream Credits Focus on Market for Leadership in Revenue Growth

eiStream Identitech Products Recognized by KM World’s "100 Companies That Matter"

DALLAS (March 31, 2004) – eiStream, Inc., a leading provider of Business Process Management solutions to more than 5,000 customer sites in 134 countries, today said it has posted a three-year gain in compounded revenues of more than 43 percent, making it one of the fastest growing companies in the Business Process Management (BPM) industry. At the same time, eiStream announced that its recently acquired subsidiary, eiStream Identitech, had been listed in KMWorld Magazine’s “100 Companies that Matter" for the second year in a row.

The consistent growth is credited to the company’s focus on innovative software and unsurpassed customer support. Revenue growth in 2003 represented the third consecutive year of double-digit growth, eiStream reported, and the outlook for 2004 continues this trend.
"At eiStream, we are extremely proud of our continued success despite softness in other sectors of the technology market. As you look at eiStream’s history, we have grown consistently during the past three years to reach more than $75 million in annual revenue," said John Oldham, eiStream senior vice president of sales and marketing. "By maintaining a focus on our core Content and Business Process Management (BPM) solutions and emphasizing our commitment to customers through our innovative and successful Investment Protection Program (IPP), we have recorded consistent profitability making eiStream one of the fastest growing companies in the market," he said.

Oldham also credited eiStream’s acquisition strategy with the company’s revenue growth. The recent eiStream acquisitions of Identitech, Inc. and Lexign, Inc. and the integration of their products is an excellent example of combining complimentary technology and services, he said. eiStream’s acquisition strategy has resulted in an unsurpassed product suite of BPM products and applications, he said.

"Our focus on technology that offers real value – goal management, transaction management, capture and workflow – has established eiStream as a leader in the industry. Our expertise, technology and customer commitment have placed eiStream above our competitors in delivering long-term value to our customers," Oldham said.

eiStream sales continue strong
Highlighting eiStream’s growth are several significant recent software sales and solution expansions for customers around the world during the first quarter. Some of these successes include:
- A $1 million software and services contract with one of the largest insurers in the Netherlands.
- A $750,000 software and services contract with a leading U.S. credit card payment processor for online management of charge-backs and retrieval requests.
- Four contracts with a combined value of more than $1 million in the Greater Asia Region for software and services for two of the largest regional banks and two major insurance carriers serving Asia.
- A $500,000 software and services agreement with one of the largest banking and financial services companies in Europe.

"These sales successes underline our commitment to providing innovative content process management solutions on a global scale," Oldham said. "The contract expansions also highlight our customer satisfaction with our proven solutions and our dedication to providing world-class services."

The eiStream Global Customer Conference and Beyond
To maintain its customer focus, eiStream schedules an annual event designed to keep customers up-to-date on topics related to imaging, workflow and business process management including return on investment, disaster recovery, regulatory compliance and performance scalability. The 2004 Global Customer Conference is set for April 19-21, 2004 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev.

"We are building on the successes of the 2003 conference with new and informative educational sessions covering business and technical issues. The conference also offers customers the opportunity to meet with our experienced professionals to discuss how eiStream solutions can improve business practices and help you exceed technology goals," Oldham said.

The 2004 conference will attract over 500 customers and feature more than 75 customer sessions with several international presentations and keynote addresses from leading industry analysts and experts.
"The conference continues our theme of ‘Building Business Agility,’ with a focus on demonstrating how our solutions reduce costs, enhance efficiency and improve business processes," Oldham said. More details about the conference, including registration information is available on the eiStream Web site.
