Mosaic Software's eSocket.POS, a component of the Postilion product family,
delivers Chip and PIN (EMV) functionality. The solution integrates easily
with 3CIntegra, 3C's integrated card processing solution used by hotels,
restaurants, car parks and web applications for transaction processing.
3C will be deploying eSocket.POS across much of its 2,000-strong customer base to facilitate Chip and PIN compliance. Initial rollout is planned for July 2004.
"3C Communications is committed to always finding new technologies which will continue to help our customers save time and money by focusing on the specific needs of each particular industry," said Michael Balzer, COO of 3C Communications. Mosaic Software's product and strong customer base, including Marks & Spencer and Somerfield, demonstrate the ability to provide solutions into a variety of retail sectors and geographical territories.
"Of all the solutions we evaluated, we felt that Mosaic's software offered the best balance of EMV-compliant functionality against cost," he added.
Andrew Marshman, Strategic Alliance Manager at Mosaic Software, commented,
"We are very pleased to be working with a global provider of integrated card
processing solutions like 3C. We were able to prove to 3C in a short timeframe that our software could easily be integrated into their existing processing solutions to the benefit of 3C's substantial client base."
