Equity Market Data Feeds Available Via SectorNet®

New York, N.Y., October 7, 2003 ? Sector, Inc.®, a leading managed services, communications services, and data distribution provider for the Financial Services industry (and the subsidiary of the Securities Industry Automation Corporation (SIAC)), today announced that the following equity market data feeds are now available via the SectorNet extranet service.
- CT/CQ
The NYSE is the administrator for the Consolidated Tape Association (CTA), who oversees the distribution of National Market System market data. Data from NYSE, Amex and regional exchanges are disseminated via the Consolidated Trade System (CTS) and the Consolidated Quote System (CQS) in real time.
- NYSE OpenBook
Provides a real-time view of the Exchange's limit-order volume for all bids and offers on all NYSE-traded securities. NYSE OpenBook offers market participants a comprehensive view of the interest outside the displayed NYSE quote, thus responding to customer demand for more depth-of-market data and raising the NYSE market to an even greater level of transparency.
- OPRA (Options Price Reporting Authority)
Consolidated last sale and quotation information on U.S. equity and index options from AMEX, CBOE, ISE, PCX and PHLX. OPRA data feeds also provide information on the number of options contracts traded, open interest, end of day summaries, and certain kinds of administrative messages. The OPRA FCO service provides information on foreign currency options.
- NYSE Liquidity Quote
The NYSE Liquidity Quote is a firm quote showing "significant size" amounts of shares bid or offered on the limit-order book, in the crowd and by the specialist as principal. The Liquidity Quote is maintained by the specialist in addition to the best or "inside" quote and is continuously disseminated in real time throughout the day. The size of each NYSE Liquidity Quote differs by stock. The NYSE Liquidity Quote may or may not be the NYSE Best Quote, however it will always be firm and "tradeable", and can be Institutional Xpress (IXP) eligible.

Sector's transmission capabilities provide an opportunity for clients to receive the data more quickly due to reduced routing latency to their site.
SectorNet clients can access equity market data feeds without the expense of additional communications lines. SectorNet provides resilient connectivity for numerous financial industry participants and facilitates business-to-business communications as well as providing access to SIAC services on behalf of the NYSE, AMEX, DTCC, etc.
