Talent management and product development put at the forefront of company strategy

29 October 2003 - Michel Van Leeuwen has been appointed as chief executive
officer of Misys Risk Management Systems. His promotion comes as incumbent
CEO Helen O'Dea takes on a newly created divisional role of people and
communications director.

The announcement follows the creation of Misys Risk Management Systems as a
business unit in its own right. Michel Van Leeuwen joined Misys in April 2003 as COO, charged with steering the business in its first phase of operating independently. With a strong risk management background and over 15 years working within the financial markets, Michel will concentrate on increasing market share for Risk Vision, the company's risk management solution, by developing its functionality to meet the regulatory and value creation challenges faced by today's financial institutions.

Michel Van Leeuwen comments, "Given the changes within the risk market, we will continue to enhance our product and support capabilities to ensure our clients remain ahead of regulatory and market trends. To do this, we must leverage our 100% focus on delivering world class risk management solutions, our commitment to customer service and the expertise within our team. We have built strong foundations and we will use this strength to help drive the value management strategies of our clients."

Helen O'Dea's appointment to people and communications director will reinforce Misys' commitment to recruit, develop and retain the industry's best talent within the Banking and Securities division of Misys.
