FUTURE DYNAMICS HAS CROSSFIRE TRADING FRONT END ENDORSED BY IPE FOR ITS TRADING ARCADE

London/30th Sep 2003: Future Dynamics today announced that their trading product, Crossfire would be used in the new IPE trading arcade on the exchange floor for electronic trading of Brent Crude when the market moves to parallel operation on October 6th.

Crossfire web screens will be deployed by the IPE clearers in the arcade, allowing their locals to trade electronically while at the same time being risk managed by those clearers from their offices.

In addition wireless handheld IPAQ devices running pocket Crossfire software will be made available to traders to familiarise themselves with side by side trading. This will allow traders to take advantage of arbitrage opportunities between the open outcry and electronic markets.

Richard Ward, CEO of the International Petroleum Exchange, commented "Parallel trading is the next step in the transition to a fully electronic market. We are pleased to be working with Future Dynamics and using their Crossfire product to support this process."

"We are pleased that the IPE has chosen to back the user and deployment flexibility our trading platform offers" said Gerald Brown MD at Future Dynamics, "and we look forward to the exciting opportunities provided by both parallel and electronic trading."
