Katotech Launches ISLend, International Securities Lending Solution, at Sibos.

Sibos, Singapore 20 October 2003 - Katotech (booth 4001), specialist provider of services and software to the securities operations market, today announced the launch of its ISLend application for Investment Banks at Sibos.

ISLend is a transaction processing and information management system for international stock lending, it is currently available on the iSeries platform and development is underway for a platform independent version. The application is a multi-instrument, multi-currency, multi-market system that manages pricing, quoting, availability, flexible allocations, settlements, collateral management, fees and revenues, corporate actions and exposure control for international securities lending - in short it automates the front- and back-office processes required for running an international securities lending operation. And at the client's discretion it can either integrate to an existing back office securities system or replace it.

Katotech has recently acquired this system from JGH Computer Services Limited; commenting on the acquisition Andrew Davey, MD for Katotech says: "ISLend fits naturally with our core knowledge assets and technology skills and it was therefore a logical decision for us to acquire the solution. We are now in the process of porting this software to a web-enabled open systems architecture and we would be delighted to discuss details of either version with interested parties at Sibos."
