Confluence's IndexStream™ Enables Benchmark Reporting for AXA

Pittsburgh, PA (September 4, 2003) – Confluence announced today that AXA Financial, one of the world’s premier financial services organizations with $458 billion in assets under management, has licensed and implemented IndexStream to further streamline their performance reporting processes. IndexStream™ automates AXA’s index data collection and reporting processes, eliminating the need to extract and consolidate data manually from multiple sources such as complicated terminal systems and online databases.

AXA began using IndexStream in production within a few weeks of licensing the product and has been extremely happy with the results. "IndexStream has streamlined the process of index aggregation and reporting for us," said George Guerrero, Assistant Vice President, AXA Financial. "In addition, having the benchmark data readily available has made it easy to judge our funds’ performance and conduct detailed analyses without jumping through hoops."

IndexStream provides a direct feed of daily benchmark data from the world’s leading index publishers to FundStation, AXA’s performance measurement system, allowing them to generate and deliver customized performance reports on demand. Confluence’s extensive list of indexes includes thousands of leading domestic and international benchmarks from providers such as MSCI, Russell, Wilshire, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, and Lipper. AXA is the third company to license IndexStream since April 2003. According to Confluence CEO Mark Evans, "Our customers have spent too much time collecting index data manually. We developed IndexStream to provide a comprehensive benchmark solution that reduces the time and cost required to deliver timely and accurate performance reporting."
