Advanced options display, time-specific VWAP, trading correlations, and other enhancements add value for institutional broker/dealer

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (PR Newswire) – 09/15/2003 – Revere™, a fast-growing provider of integrated research and market data, today announced the release of version 6.0 of the Revere RealTime™ market data application and the signing of Nutmeg Securities, Ltd., as the latest subscriber. Nutmeg, an institutional broker/dealer headquartered in Fairfield, Connecticut, with offices nationwide, will deploy Revere RealTime in various packages to over 25 users in institutional trading and research, replacing Reuters Plus.
Revere RealTime, along with the Revere Research™ analysis platform, forms the Revere Complete™ product suite. Revere Complete integrates comprehensive financial and market information – real-time quotes, sector and option analytics, charts, news, fundamental data, and sophisticated screening – with Revere’s own exclusive content on company classification and key business relationships.

"With its enhanced feature set, unique content, integrated research capabilities, and high performance, Revere is a very good fit with Nutmeg’s desire to provide customers with non-proprietary products and unbiased, professional advice," said Matthew Rochlin, President of Nutmeg. "The new options display and time-specific VWAP search were things we needed, and Revere was very responsive in adding them, along with other useful features like the trading correlations."

Version 6.0 of Revere RealTime adds enhanced charts, with over 50 new technical studies; dynamic VWAP (volume-weighted average price) and time-specific VWAP search; a new options display featuring a tabbed portfolio view and greater customization; NASDAQ market depth displays; trading correlations showing the top 20 positive and negative correlations for each stock over multiple time periods; and numerous other improvements.

"We’re delighted that this latest set of enhancements to Revere RealTime has allowed us to serve a prominent new customer like Nutmeg," said Kevin E. O’Brien, Chief Operating Officer of Revere. "And we’re pleased that our thin-client architecture enables us to introduce improvements like this to all our customers seamlessly and immediately, saving time both for users and for IT administrators."

Revere’s subscribers include traders, fund managers, analysts, and other professionals at leading financial institutions, such as ABN AMRO, Thrivent Financial, and the Pacific Exchange, along with competitive intelligence, business development, and strategy specialists at major corporations, including EDS, IBM, and Intel.
